This summer's mandatory school wide reading book is The Boys Who Challenged Hitler by Phillip Hoose. We will be reading this as a school community and all students and faculty are required to read the book before returning to school in the fall. PowerSchool Portal Closure During Summer Break

We will close the PowerSchool student and parent portal (access) Monday, June 12th thru Wednesday, August 16. PowerSchool access will reopen to students and parents on Thursday, August 17th when school resumes.
Students attending Summer School will be given log in information for summer school only.

Students are reminded to take care of broken screens over the summer. Broken screens can cause further damage to the iPad or even injury. Do not risk having your iPad forbidden next year because of a broken screen. Students are free to find their own source to repair screens but one possible repair group is Bros.Tech. Senior Presentation was Thursday May 25th, Baccalaureate Mass was Friday, May 26th at 7:00 pm at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. Graduation was, Saturday, May 27th at 10:00 am at the First Church of the Nazarene in Pasadena.

Cathedral Alumni Wins Big West Conference Championships in the 800m

UC Irvine sophomore Isaiah Jewett has been quite the surprise in his first year running the 800m. He is unbeaten in five meets, most recently winning the event at the Big West Championships on May 13. Jewett's lifetime-best 1:48.22, which he achieved at the adidas/Steve Scott Invitational. Isaiah Jewett has been named the Big West Men's Track Athlete of the Week for the fourth time this season. Isaiah qualified to compete at the NCAA West Preliminary Championships, May 25-27.
