College Fairs

Students and parents are strongly encouraged to attend college fairs to learn about colleges (both familiar and unfamiliar), the admissions process, scholarships, and meet college representatives.  College fairs may be national (involving schools from around the country), regional (i.e. Southern California, Western US, etc...), or by type (i.e. Cal States, Jesuit, Lasallian, etc...).  College Fairs are typically free but some do require prior registration.  Below are some college fairs recommended by Cathedral High School.

The Jesuit Excellence Tour (Mini-College Fair)

Attention College Bound Students!  Are you ready to JET To Excellence?  The Jesuit Excellence College Tour will be at Cathedral High School on Monday October 14, 2024 from 8:00 PM to 8:45 AM.  This mini college fair will host 15 of the top colleges in the country.  These Catholic schools in the Jesuit tradition will be here to answer your questions about college admission, financial aid, and studying at a Catholic College.  Be sure to add this to your calendar.  All students and their parents are welcome.  For more information, see your grade level counselor.

Cathedral High School College Fair (Thursday October 24, 2024 at 7:00 PM )

The Cathedral High School Counseling Department will be hosting the LA Metro College Fair on Thursday October 24 at 7:00 in the gym.  Parents and students are invited to meet representatives from 40+ colleges and universities from throughout California and neighboring states.  Some schools come from as far as Massachusetts and Minnesota.  College Fairs are a great way to meet admissions directors and learn more about the admissions process at different schools.  The road to college starts at the College Fair.   STUDENTS FROM ALL GRADE LEVELS ARE WELCOME.  For more information, visit the CHS website or contact your grade level counselor.
