Summer Enrichment Opportunities
Students are encouraged to take advantage of the summer break to learn and do more. Students might take a college class at a community college, participate in an internship, get a part-time job, or volunteer at a local community agency. All of these opportunities will help students mature, gain skills, and improve their chances at being admitted to college,.
Below are a few examples or summer programs to which students might apply. Although some may have a hefty price tag, many are offered at low cost, offer scholarships, or are free to attend. For more information or assistance in applying to a program, please reach out to your grade level counselor.
