Tuition & Financial Aid: Incoming Freshman Families

Applying for Financial Assistance:

Each year Cathedral High School offers a comprehensive financial aid (financial need based) totaling over 4 million dollars in financial aid. Financial Aid awarded is separate from any academic scholarship your son may have received. Families may apply for financial need based grants each year. 
There are two ways to apply for financial aid at Cathedral High School:

1) FACTS: Grant & Aid Application

To be considered for any form of need-based tuition assistance from Cathedral High School, you must complete the FACTS online Application and the CEF application.  Applying online is the easiest and fastest way to complete your application, and it allows Cathedral High School to view your application within minutes of submission. 

You will need to upload your most recent income tax return 2020 (or 2021 if completed), and/or any other untaxed income. A $35 application fee will be required upon completing your application.

            DEADLINE to submit a FACTS Application: 

           New Incoming Freshman/Transfer Students:  DUE: January 28, 2022. 

2) Catholic Education Foundation (CEF/TAP):

Catholic Education Foundation (CEF/TAP): DUE:  December 16, 2021 and December 17, 2021.

The Catholic Education Foundation offers $2000 need based grants whose families fall at or below the income guidelines. All parents applying for Cathedral High School’s Financial Aid through FACTS must also submit a CEF application. You may apply to CEF by completing the application below and providing proof of income. To help families apply for CEF, representatives will be on campus on December 16, 2021 and December 17, 2021 from 12:00 pm – 7:45 pm.   Please make an appointment by logging onto www.cefdn.org go to top of page and click on “CONTACT US” and select “TAP APPOINTMENTS” proceed to “NEXT” then search and select Cathedral High School.  Enter the date and time you wish to attend, and your contact information to finalize your appointment.  At our appointment you will need to bring a completed CEF Application and proof of income (2020 Income Tax Return, 2020 W-2’s and/or untaxed income).
