I. The Ministry of Altar Server

Altar Servers assist at school masses, Our Lady of the Angels Cathedral liturgies that may include funerals, class masses, retreats, and Baccalaureate Mass.

If you have been an Altar Server before or would like to be trained as one, please come to the Campus Ministry Office for an application and Interview.

Requirements for Altar Server

1. Strong moral character

2. Love for the Mass

3. Already received the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, and Holy Eucharist.

II. The Peer Ministry

Juniors and Seniors who exemplify good leadership skills are invited to apply as a Peer Minister. Peer Ministers assist the Campus Minister with retreats with freshmen and sophomores.

III. Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion

Any Junior/Senior who has received the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Holy Eucharist, and Confirmation) who desires to serve God's community by being a minister of the Bread or the Cup are encouraged to apply. Please follow the requirements found in the Altar Server explanation.

IV. Lector

This ministry is open to all students. It is preferred to have students from each grade level exercise this important responsibility. If you like to speak in public, this job is ideal for you. Lectors are responsible for reading at mass and prayer services.

V. Art & Environment

Are you an artist? Do you have great writing or can draw using your creativity? Do you like to decorate? Come and be a Minister of Art & Environment. Help make our liturgies look festive!

VI. Music Ministry

Do you play an instrument? Are you a singer? Well, we can use your talents for our masses and prayer services. Please come to Campus Ministry for more information.

Liturgy Team

Members of the Liturgy Team are formed from the six groups represented. The Liturgy team are students who consult with the Campus Minister to create student led liturgies.
