Tuition & Financial Aid: Incoming Freshmen Families

Applying for Financial Assistance:

 

Each year Cathedral High School offers a comprehensive financial aid (financial need based) totaling over 3.5 million dollars. Families may apply for financial need based grants each year. 

 

There are two ways to apply for financial aid at Cathedral High School:

 

  1. Catholic Education Foundation (CEF): Application deadline has passed and all submitted applications have been submitted. This funding is provided by Catholic Education Foundation.  If you have any questions please call Lorena Griego at (323) 441-3115.

 

  1. FACTS: Grant & Aid Application:  DUE: FEBRUARY 12, 2018 INCOMING FRESHMAN FAMILIES 

Cathedral High School is happy to offer financial assistance to family members who apply.  To apply for the 2018-2019 school year, Cathedral will be using FACTS online service ($27 app fee).  Paper applications will only be available on a limited basis.  If you are unable to submit your application on line you may submit a paper application with a $40 payment to Cathedral High School.

 

You must provide proof of income.  A copy of your most recent completed tax returns and W-2’s and/or copies of un-taxable income must be uploaded to your online FACTS application.

 

Instructions to apply online and a sample work sheet of the FACTS application are attached below for your review.

 Cathedral High School will be hosting a financial aid workshop to assist, incoming freshman and new families in completing the on-line FACTS application on:  Monday, February 12 @ 6 pm, 2018 for incoming freshman families.  You must bring your own media device, and a completed FACTS Worksheet (see below).
