Tuition & Financial Aid: Incoming Freshmen Families

Applying for Financial Assistance:

 

Each year Cathedral High School offers a comprehensive financial aid (financial need based) totaling over 3.8 million dollars in financial aid.  Families may apply for financial need based grants each year. 

 

There are two ways to apply for financial aid at Cathedral High School:

 

1) Catholic Education Foundation (CEF): DUE:NOVEMBER 30, 2018

The Catholic Education Foundation offers need based grants whose families fall at or below the income guidelines.  If you believe you meet the income guidelines (see qualifications below, under CEF).  Please complete the CEF Application Cycle and submit it by the due date to Cathedral High School. This funding is provided by Catholic Education Foundation.  If you have any questions please call Lorena Griego at (323) 441-3115.

 

2) FACTS: Grant & Aid Application:  DUE: FEBRUARY 7, 2019 NEW INCOMING FRESHMAN FAMILIES

All students entering grades 9 - 12 are eligible to apply for need-based tuition assistance.  To be considered for any form of need-based tuition assistance from Cathedral High School, you must complete the FACTS Application online.  You will need to upload 2017 income tax return or any other proof of income forms and a $30 application fee.

Cathedral High School will be hosting a financial aid workshop to assist, incoming freshman and new families in completing the on-line FACTS application on:  Monday, February 4, 2019 at 6:00 PM. You must bring your own media device.

 

If you are unable to submit your application on line you may submit a paper application with a $40 payment to Cathedral High School.  Paper applications will only be available on a limited basis.
